SOMA-Core is a modular AI platform developed by AmriTech's AI Lab. It is one of several tools we build alongside our managed IT practice, designed to give businesses a structured way to deploy AI capabilities without the chaos of stitching together dozens of disconnected services.
The problem SOMA-Core addresses
Most businesses experimenting with AI end up with a collection of point solutions: a chatbot here, a document processor there, an analytics dashboard somewhere else. Each has its own vendor, its own data format, and its own billing model. The result is fragmentation -- useful individual tools that do not talk to each other and cannot share context.
SOMA-Core provides a unified control layer that sits between your business processes and the AI models doing the work.
Modular architecture
The platform is built around composable modules rather than a monolithic application. Each module handles a specific capability:
- Intake -- ingests data from email, forms, APIs, and file drops into a normalized pipeline
- Classify -- routes and categorizes incoming items using configurable models
- Act -- executes automated workflows based on classification results
- Report -- aggregates outcomes into dashboards and scheduled summaries
Modules can be deployed independently. A business that only needs document classification does not have to install the full platform -- they deploy Intake and Classify, connect their document source, and start processing.
How it integrates with IT services
SOMA-Core is not a standalone product that lives in isolation. It connects directly to the infrastructure we already manage for our IT clients. Monitoring alerts can flow into the Classify module for severity triage. Help desk tickets can route through Act for automated first-response. Backup reports can feed into Report for executive summaries.
This integration means AI capabilities ride on top of existing managed services rather than requiring a parallel infrastructure.

It is not a general-purpose AI assistant or a chatbot product. It is a backend orchestration platform for business process automation. It does not have a consumer-facing interface -- it works behind the scenes, processing data and executing workflows.
It is also not the only thing AmriTech builds. Our AI Lab works on a range of tools and integrations, from custom automation scripts to full platform deployments. SOMA-Core is the most mature of these projects, but it is part of a broader engineering practice.
